What’s in your food?

I’ve stumbled upon this video before and while some might be impressed by the modern factory¬† farms. I’m not, it doesn’t strike me as progress.

In our fast paced society, where we have to tamper with things to make them better wouldn’t it be foolish to think that the chemicals that are pumped into animals aren’t passed on to those who consume them?

I’d think that it would be much better to consume animals that didn’t have the added enhancements, right?

Grrrr! Factory Farms! Yeah…I know you know my stance on them. Pfft! As awful as it is – there has to be more awareness of them. People need to educated themselves on where they get their food from and how. So sad. Indeed I think we are NO progressing but going the other direction. You are right – those who eat meat – need to know about this too! Even if they choose to continue to eat meat – it’s still an issue! 100 years ago our ancestors didn’t ‘farm’ like this. Very sad state of affairs – all around.

@Jennifer, Yep, when we treat the animals the chemicals are passed on to those who consume them. No your source, same holds true with us veggies too.
