Yesterday, my daughter had a play date at our home with her best friend/schoolmate. They were both excited to hang out with each other for the day. I took off of work early and my daughter and me picked up her best friend.
Shortly after arriving home we took an \early morning/afternoon stroll in the woods.
We live on around four acres of land, the majority of it is wooded. There was lots to see and the time flew by.
More importantly the girls had a good time.
Lots of things to explore in the great outdoors
… and plenty of giggling filled the crisp autumn air.
They were off yesterday and today. Parent/teachers conference is occurring at our Lutheran school.
Gorgeous Fall Photos! Sounds like a FUN time 🙂 I waited too long to take fall pics…we already have the majority of color gone and leaves down! sigh…

@Nicky, Thanks, it was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to go out again, perhaps tomorrow if it’s not raining.

@suituapui, Agreed, Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons. When we don’t get a lot of snow, autumn is easily my favorite. When snow steps makes an appearance it’s winter. I will say that I do love all seasons. They each offer a unique view of the awesome world that God created.
