A new website

About ten minutes ago, I created a new website for my daughter. She’s had a website for several years; however, she thought it was “cringey,” and so when I asked her today whether she wanted to continue with her old site or go another way, she opted to create a new domain. I would have just recreated my content while keeping the same name, but she’s not me.
She’s mainly going to use it as a place to share her drawings. She’s quite talented. Yes, I’m her mom, but I’m also objective and will tell her when I see things that are a bit off. She has received positive feedback from others regarding her work, including her art teacher.

Our lives have been busy; however, I’m hoping that I can start writing more, and I have penned in updating my websites at least every two weeks. After I get back into the flow, I’m hoping to go back to writing at least once weekly.

Sounds great.

I haven’t done anything in Exit78 since July. I was going pretty good there until I got distracted by another interest. It happens.

I’ve become somewhat of a goto guy for pro-casino information on a proposed casino in our county. Unlike many states, Arkansas has a new amendment that allows 1 casino in each of 4 regions of the state. One of them will probably be just a few miles from here. I’m not for the gambling aspect of it, but since it’s coming I see it as a huge potential economic catalyst for the area. It’s going to be a very upscale resort and casino with lots of other amenities. With research and periodic Facebook posts, it’s kept me busy, plus we spent 5 weeks traveling out west.
