It’s been a few years since we received more than a dusting of snow,
and to be perfectly honest the snow we’ve received the past few weeks hasn’t been a lot.
We received at least three inches with this last snowfall, but you know what? I’ll take that snow. It sure looks lovely.
My only regret is that I haven’t been able to get out and enjoy the snow as I have in the past.
Life has been so busy, however, I took a few photos of the snow on my way to work last Monday.
Here’s hoping we receive some more snow before spring makes an appearance.
We’re having snow as well. We normally don’t get much snow — some years none at all, other years quite a bit. This is the first measurable snow of this winter and it looks like this is going to be one of those “other years.” We’re at 6+ inches and it’s still coming down with another storm due in a couple of days. By the weekend, we’re supposed to make it above freezing during the day for the first time in a week and a half.
We’re usually aware of unusual weather in your part of the States. One of Karen’s brothers (Bob) lives in Thurmont, a sister in Williamsburg, VA, and I have a niece in Norfolk. All of them are on Facebook and other social media. We learned yesterday that Bob is tired of the winters and they are planning to sell the house and move to Florida. He’s been working from home for years and, apparently, will be able to continue doing so no matter where he lives.
Stay safe and stay warm!

We definitely received a lot more snow when I was a child, and I enjoyed that immensely. They’re calling for snow and ice later this week. I believe we’re supposed to get that some time on Thursday.
Sounds like a good idea for your brother in law. Working from home definitely has its advantages, and you most likely won’t need to take as many days off from work. I know I rarely had to do that when working from home. 20% of our staff are still working from home. All of my mother’s siblings live in Florida. They were raised in South Carolina. There are 14 of them that are still living. I talk to one of my aunts a few times weekly. She’s in Naples, Florida. There were a few evenings when the temperature was in the ’30s; cold weather like that isn’t something they receive a lot. I called her on the way to work today. I believe it was supposed to be in the 70’s today and cloudy. She told me I could keep my snow and ice.
I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and warm also.
