Lutheran Church: Blessing of the animals

One of the many things I love about my Lutheran church is how they seem to include so many things into their church home.

We have ministries that deal with the elderly, hospitalized, those suffering from addictions, homeless, people not having enough to eat, groups for children, teens, women, men, couples, ect., You name it, my Lutheran church seems to have that covered. This Sunday, there will be a special feature in our church services (we have three of them; one on Saturday and two on Sunday.) It’s time to Bless the Animals. In years prior, the animals were physically brought to the location but this year church members will submit their pets and the animals will be presented in a Power Point presentation. Naturally, I’m submitting pictures of Angel, Mr. Bentley, Gracie, Oreo… and my honeybees!
