I’ve been so caught up with machine embroidery and my Brother ScanNCut, that I haven’t been posting anything about juicing or any other food related topic for quite some time. While I haven’t been posting, I’ve been definitely preparing some delicious juice and a variety of tasty raw and cooked meals.

Earlier today, I made apple lemonade. I usually add one or two lemons but this time I added three. The tart from the lemons reduced the sweetness of the apples and gave me a lovely sweet/tart blend. I like how it tastes.

Excellent! LOVE this! Neat color, too! Did you juice the Lemon Rinds, too!? Sometimes I do…sometimes I don’t – same with Watermelon. I know some people are against juicing the Watermelon Rind, tho!

@Jennifer, I juice the entire lemon, so yes the rind also. Most of the nutrients are in the skin so yes I juice the watermelon rinds also.

@Opal,
I agree! Growing up I was told never to consume the rind of watermelons! The last couple of years I have been and reading up on the benefits! They are amazing! It’s funny those old tales that most people believe just because ‘somebody’ said so! They are really missing out!
